Just woke up about half an hour ago. Soooo nice to sleep in. :) Next Saturday my family will be scattering my brother's ashes at the Chesapeake Bay. He died on January 26, 2010 but the weather was so bad we decided to wait until it got better to scatter his ashes.
My carpel tunnel is acting up right now so it is difficult to type.
Beautiful day today but it is kind of cold.

Thursday evening
Sitting on my balcony listening to all the birds singing. It sounds like a jungle out here. The Flickers (Woodpeckers) sound like Kookaburras in the deep jungles of South America. Is that where Kookaburras are from? I love the sound of Eastern Blue Jays. Its more of a squawk than a chirp or a tweet. Small planes buzz by, making me think of crop duster planes. Lots of chirping. The Chickadees land on the cherry blossom tree branches trying to fly on to my hanging bird feeder even with me there. Then my black cat Shadow walks out on to the balcony from the living room after eating wet cat food. He looks up at me and then lifts his front legs to lean on the edge of the chair seat. He leaps up on to my lap and balances on my left thigh with his back legs and kneads my stomach with his front legs. Dogs barking in the close distance, car doors closing, families talking outside, jet planes and laughing. I've got my windows open. There is a very, very slight breeze and the outside temperature is quite comfortable.

Sunday evening
It's another Sunday evening and what have I done? No much. Ate and slept. It is a beautiful day. I should have been out walking and enjoying spring but no that's not what I did. Yes, I need some spice in my life. No one here to tell me that though. I'm surrounded by old ladies and families. I don't call anyone. I am depressed (how boring) a lot. Work is work. It gets me out of the house. Oh, I did play my guitar and sing a little. And I wonder why I don't keep a blog..........
Here is a list of the songs I attempted to play and sing today:
We Might As Well Be Strangers by Kean
Bedshaped by Kean
Mad World by Tears for Fears
